A few questions you might have

If you’re considering this work, it’s natural to have questions.

This page offers some gentle clarity about how the ABC Method™ works, what these conversations are like, and what you can expect — so you can decide, in your own time, whether it feels right for you.

The ABC Method™ grew out of many years of supporting women through anxiety, transition, and identity change in midlife.

How do I know if this is right for me?

The ABC Method™ is designed for thoughtful, capable women in midlife who are experiencing anxiety, internal pressure, or a loss of steadiness in themselves.

Often, women arrive at this work not because something has dramatically fallen apart, but because something no longer feels sustainable. The strategies that carried them for years no longer provide the same sense of calm or certainty.

You don’t need to be in crisis.

You simply need to recognise that something is shifting, and feel open to exploring a different way forward.

The best way to determine whether this work feels right is through an initial conversation.

What is the ABC Method™?

The ABC Method™ is a structured 8-week private coaching programme designed to help you understand anxiety differently, retrain nervous-system safety, and rebuild self-trust.

The work unfolds through three essential shifts:

Awareness
Understanding what is happening in your body and mind, and recognising anxiety as a nervous-system signal rather than a personal failing.

Breakthrough
Interrupting patterns of over-functioning, internal pressure, and automatic fear responses, and beginning to experience greater emotional safety.

Confidence
Rebuilding a steadier, quieter confidence — rooted not in performance or coping, but in clarity, boundaries, and self-trust.

This creates an internal framework you can rely on for life.

How does the programme work?

The ABC Method™ takes place over eight weeks, with one private 45-60-minute session per week.

Sessions are held online via Google Meet, allowing you to access this work from wherever you are.

Between sessions, you will begin integrating what your nervous system is learning, allowing change to unfold in a way that is sustainable and deeply rooted.

This is not about pushing or fixing, but about creating the conditions for lasting internal safety and calm.

What happens in the first session?

The first session focuses on understanding your experience in depth — your nervous system, your patterns, and how anxiety has been operating in your life.

This alone often brings a sense of relief and clarity.

From there, the work unfolds through the ABC Method™ framework, supporting you step by step in retraining your nervous system and rebuilding steadiness and self-trust.

Is this therapy?

No. This is coaching and nervous-system-led support.

While the work is psychologically informed, it is focused on helping you understand anxiety, retrain nervous-system safety, and develop practical internal skills that support lasting calm and confidence.

Many women come to this work alongside or after therapy, finding it offers a different kind of integration and forward movement.

Is this offered online?

Yes. All sessions take place online via Google Meet, allowing you to access this work from wherever you feel most comfortable and settled.

Do I need a referral or diagnosis?

No. This is non-clinical coaching support. You’re welcome to begin without referrals or formal assessments.

Many women arrive simply recognising that something no longer feels sustainable, and wanting a calmer, more grounded way forward.

What is the investment?

The ABC Method™ is an 8-week private coaching programme.

The investment is £1,500.

This includes eight 45-60-minute sessions, along with structured support designed to help you move beyond coping and into lasting calm, clarity, and self-trust.

This work is not about temporary symptom management, but about helping you build an internal framework you can rely on for life.

Payment plans are available and can be discussed during your initial conversation.

What kind of results can I expect?

Every woman’s experience is unique. However, many women notice:

• a reduction in persistent anxiety and internal pressure
• greater emotional steadiness
• improved sleep and ability to relax
• increased clarity and confidence in themselves
• a quieter, more trusting relationship with their own mind and body

Most importantly, women leave with an internal framework they can continue using long after the programme ends.

Do you offer in-person workshops?

Yes. I occasionally offer small, in-person workshops and wellbeing spaces locally in Nottinghamshire.

These sessions provide a gentle introduction to understanding anxiety differently, and an opportunity to experience nervous-system-led support in a calm, supportive environment.

Workshops are not a substitute for private coaching, but can be a helpful starting point for those wanting to explore this work more gradually.

You can join the mailing list or follow along for updates on upcoming dates.

Do you offer group programmes?

Yes. Matermorphosis™ is a small, guided group container for women in midlife navigating anxiety, identity shifts, and transition.

This space supports continued integration, emotional safety, and the deepening of self-trust alongside others moving through a similar threshold.

Matermorphosis™ runs at certain times throughout the year.

Places are limited, and priority is given to those who have previously engaged in private coaching or expressed interest.

If you would like to join the waiting list, you’re very welcome to get in touch.

What if I’m not sure yet?

That’s completely understandable.

Beginning with a conversation allows you to explore what you’re experiencing, ask any questions, and sense whether this work feels right for you.

There is no pressure or obligation — simply space to reflect and understand your next step.

You’re very welcome to begin with a calm conversation, and explore whether this feels right for you.

What is your cancellation or refund policy?

If you choose to discontinue the programme, unused sessions are refunded on a pro-rata basis.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment can be made via bank transfer (BACS) or PayPal (PayPal fees apply).

How do I book or reschedule sessions?

You can begin by booking a free initial conversation via the booking link.

Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Still have questions?

If something here has resonated, but you’d like to talk it through, you’re very welcome to reach out.

This is simply a space to ask questions, reflect out loud, and see whether this kind of support feels right for you — without pressure or obligation.

We’ll get back to you as soon as we possibly can.
