A few questions you might have
If you’re considering this work, it’s natural to have questions.
This page offers clear, grounded answers about how the ABC Method™ works,
what these conversations are like, and what you can expect —
so you can decide, in your own time, whether it feels right for you.
This approach is shaped by many years of working with anxiety that doesn’t always look obvious —
often in people who appear capable on the outside,
but are carrying far more internally than others can see.
How do I know if this is right for me?
The ABC Method™ is designed for capable, thoughtful people who are experiencing anxiety, internal pressure, or a growing sense that something isn’t working the way it used to.
Often, people arrive here not because something has fallen apart —
but because something no longer feels sustainable.
You may recognise that:
-
your mind is harder to switch off
-
you’re second-guessing yourself more
-
anxiety is starting to show up in ways you can’t ignore
You don’t need to be in crisis.
Just aware that something is shifting —
and open to understanding it properly.
The best way to explore whether this work is right for you is through a Breakthrough Session.
What is the ABC Method™?
The ABC Method™ is a structured 8-session private coaching process designed to help you understand anxiety differently, retrain a sense of safety in your system, and respond with greater steadiness and clarity.
The work unfolds through three essential shifts:
Awareness
Understanding what’s happening in your body and mind — and recognising anxiety as a protective response, not a personal failing.
Breakthrough
Shifting the patterns that keep you in overdrive — including overthinking, internal pressure, and automatic stress responses.
Confidence
Rebuilding a quieter, steadier confidence — rooted in clarity, boundaries, and self-trust.
This creates a way of responding you can rely on — long after the work is complete.
How does the programme work?
The ABC Method™ takes place over eight sessions, with one private 45–60 minute session each week.
Sessions are held online via Google Meet.
Between sessions, you begin integrating what your system is learning —
so change becomes steady, sustainable, and lived.
This isn’t about pushing or fixing.
It’s about creating the conditions for lasting calm and steadiness.
What happens in the first session?
The first session focuses on understanding your experience in depth —
your patterns, your responses, and how anxiety is operating for you.
This alone often brings a sense of clarity and relief.
From there, the work unfolds through the ABC Method™ —
supporting you step by step as your responses begin to shift.
Is this therapy?
No — this is coaching and nervous-system-led support.
While the work is psychologically informed, it focuses on helping you:
-
understand anxiety
-
retrain your responses
-
develop a steadier, more reliable way of responding
Many people come to this work alongside or after therapy,
finding it offers a more structured, forward-focused approach.
Do I need a referral or diagnosis?
No.
This is non-clinical coaching support — you can begin without referrals or a formal diagnosis.
Most people arrive simply recognising that something isn’t working as it used to —
and wanting a clearer, more effective way forward.
What kind of results can I expect?
Every experience is different.
However, many clients notice:
-
reduced anxiety and internal pressure
-
more steadiness in moments that previously felt overwhelming
-
less overthinking and anticipation
-
clearer thinking and decision-making
-
a more trusting relationship with themselves
Most importantly, you leave with a way of responding you can rely on —
not something you have to keep managing.
