I’m Helen.

I’m an Anxiety Coach, and creator of the ABC Method™.

My work focuses on understanding and shifting anxiety at its root — not just managing it.

 

I support capable, thoughtful people who appear calm and in control on the outside —
but internally feel anxious, under pressure, or stretched beyond what’s sustainable.

 

This work exists to help you move beyond coping,
and begin to feel steadier, clearer, and more like yourself again.

 

The ABC Method™ grew out of many years of supporting people through anxiety that doesn’t always look obvious —
and is grounded in a nervous-system-led approach to lasting change.

My Story

This work was not born from theory alone — but from lived experience.

 

I spent over 15 years working in education, including senior leadership roles in high-pressure environments.

 

From the outside, I was capable and dependable — someone others relied on.

 

But internally, I lived with a constant sense of vigilance and responsibility.

 

I knew how to cope.
How to continue.
How to hold everything together.

 

What I didn’t yet know was how to feel fully at ease within myself.

 

Over time, I began working more deeply in the field of wellbeing and anxiety — supporting people who, like me, appeared capable on the outside, but were carrying far more internally than others could see.

 

This work deepened my understanding of the nervous system —
and of how anxiety can develop quietly, even in outwardly successful lives.

 

Alongside this, my own life continued to bring me into closer relationship with anxiety —
not as something to eliminate, but as something to understand.

 

I came to see that anxiety is not a malfunction.

 

It is a signal.

 

The ABC Method™ was born from this integration of professional experience, nervous-system understanding, and lived reality.

 

Today, I bring together over two decades of leadership, wellbeing, and coaching experience to support people who are ready to move beyond coping —
and feel steadier, clearer, and more like themselves again.

 

Many of the people I work with have spent years being strong for others.

 

They are thoughtful, capable, and highly responsible.

 

But internally, something has started to shift.

 

And they don’t want to keep managing it alone.

 

My role is not to fix you.

 

It’s to help you understand what your anxiety is trying to protect —
and support your system in rediscovering safety, steadiness, and self-trust.

 

Because anxiety is not the problem.

 

Disconnection is.

 

And when that begins to change, something shifts.

 

You feel clearer.
More steady.
More able to think, respond, and be present.

 

Not because you’ve become someone new —

 

But because you’re able to be yourself again, without the constant pressure.
